Both times Maddog was up to bat today, she hit home runs and Smiley Rylee hit one her first time up. It was amazing...too bad I failed to hit the 'record' button on the video camera I was holding in my hand. In this league, homeruns aren't very common which makes this even better. We occasionally play in tournaments and if we win both games on Saturday, we play for the championship on Sunday. Only thing is "We" doesn't include Mads and Ry. Even though it's always been like this, I'm still so proud of the way they handle the situation by explaining to their friends, yet again, that we reserve the sabbath for family and worship. You would think living in Texas... One of the coach's went as far as to tell me they would pray before the game if the girls could play on Sunday!
Anyway...
Steve left a little before we did and this is what we came home to! Notes all over the (messy) house with little songs/poems about what great players they are. He is so good to them and they adore him in return. :)
