I decided after 6 sleepless nights I needed to do something about our green pool/pond. The reason for my sleeplessness? The 5 very large resident toads living in the spa who croak ALL night long. I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures, but trust me, they were big, and the pool/spa was the perfect living conditions for these guys. Anyway, I made it a point to be home at least every 4 hours for 3 days and we now have a swim able pool. :) I am quite shocked that after Mads and Ry saw the pool and know all the chemical crap that I put into they still want to swim in it - it's the same water!?!?!
