The girls had back to back games today but before they started, we had to add a little drama to the mix. Steve was throwing a ball AT, eh hem, TO Rylee and gave her a fresh one right in her right eye. We are working on some heroic stories to tell others. For the Pirates, Madison cracked one out onto the grass and ran a double, they won 8-0. The Mustangs are still working on gelling their team and without being too shy or modest, we'll tell you Rylee is the star player on the team! They won 10-6.

Beat the Children
Our family has a little game we play, which should be called 'Beat the Dad' now, but was once called 'Beat the Children'. Nobody is actually hurt during this game (well, sometimes we see a bruise or two) but they usually work up a sweat. DISCLAIMER: Please excuse the following: t-shirts hanging out of drawers, 80's ficus tree, early 90's log pole furniture, and ugly pear candle thingy (a visit teacher gift). We are working on a bedroom remodel. Thanks.

Medieval Times
We took the girls to Medieval Times today- we've wanted to go for a while and they had a buy one get one coupon in the paper so we took the opportunity! It was a lot of fun, we happened to be sitting in the yellow/red section and our knight won the joist tournament! The girls were very excited, until they found out at school that the yellow/red knight ALWAYS wins. Oh well. We are trying to expose ourselves to everything Dallas has to offer before Steve's job takes us elsewhere!
